A place for people who love to garden
but don't always have the time
or the inclination

Do you love to garden? I sure do.

But even when I have the time, I often just don't do it. I don't take the time I need to. I rarely feed my plants, and when I do I take the lazy way, and use plant food stakes. These are the greatest things since sliced bread. Not only are they the lazy way to feed plants, but they now come in flavors for just about every different kind of plant. They usually only get water because most of the potted plants are on a drip system. But when I'm out there tinkering around, picking this flower, plucking that dead stem, I love it. Some of the most satisfying moments I have are when I wander out to my container garden on the deck and pick some stems of rosemary to cook with the potatoes or to throw into a pot of something, pull fully ripe, sun-warmed tomatoes from the vine and pop them into my mouth, or enjoy the aromas and colors of the flowering bulbs, herbs, and other plants.

If this sounds more your style, then you've found the right place.

So, all that said, this site will be a gathering place for my little short cuts, tips, and some of the wonderful benefits of being a truly lazy gardener. Follow the links below to read my little bits on each subject noted.
